Exertis appoints former Dixons man Cushway as Microsoft GM

Matt Cushway will be responsible for Exertis’ Microsoft business

Exertis has appointed Matt Cushway as its new Microsoft general manager. He joined the company on March 1.

The newly created role will see Cushway responsible for developing Exertis’ Microsoft business and the gaming, software, Linx tablets, hardware and peripheral products it offers.

He will be based at Exertis’ office in Harlow and will report to home commercial director Alex Croft. Cushway was previously Twentieth Century Fox head of sales from October 2012. Prior to this role he was Tesco buying manager between October 2007 and September 2008. He also spent two years between 2004 and 2006 as Dixons Retail product manager.

Exertis retail director Mike Buley said: “Matt has a wealth of sales and purchasing experience in the retail and entertainment industries and is a welcome addition to the commercial team.”
