Exertis appoints ex-EE employee to mobile division

Nick Beesley joins with brief to drive Samsung and Acer products into the channel

Exertis has appointed ex-EE employee Nick Beesley as business manager for mobile devices with responsibility for ranging Samsung and Acer phones and tablets.

Beesley will report into the distributor’s head of devices Ewan Davies and will begin work immediately in the role where he will liaise closely with internal sales teams and the manufacturers.

He had been out of work for six months since leaving EE in April 2014 where he most recently held the role of retail trading manager pay monthly for three years. Prior to that he spent eight years at Dixons Travel in a number of different positions including category imaging manager imaging.

“With my background and passion within consumer and telco electronics, this commercial role seemed perfect for me,” Beesley said in a statement. “I have a great opportunity here at Exertis, and with autonomy and ownership over my remit I’m really looking forward to getting stuck into the job over coming months.”
