IT departments will be able to securely deploy their own devices in bulk according to Weston

Exertis has announced Android zero-touch enrolment as it offer its resellers a more simple service for mobile enterprise deployment.

Android zero-touch enrolment is a streamlined process for the deployment of large scale corporate-owned mobile devices.

The service will be available to Exertis’ reseller channel for applicable handsets and tablets from Huawei, Sony, LG and Nokia.

Android zero-touch enrolment allows customers to use their preferred mobility management provider to put policies in place and manage apps on their employees devices. With this customers can set up the devices to work straight out of the box.

Devices that run Android Oreo 8.0 and a variety of other EMM providers will be compatible with the enrolment.

Resellers will be able to set their customers up with a zero-touch portal account through Exertis, as well as a choice of handsets and range of finance options including its device-as-a-service offering.

Exertis mobile sales director Mark Weston said: “Android as a platform scores heavily in terms of device choice, cost, features and the ability for businesses to customise the handset for specific customer apps.”

“With zero-touch enrolment, IT departments can easily and securely deploy their own corporate devices in bulk with enforced management without having to manually set-up each device.”

Current Exertis mobile project and support manager Lisa Barber will manage the team with the roll-out of Android zero-touch enrolment according to Weston.
