Eurostar Global targets 2022 growth with expanded product portfolio

The distributor is moving into a new 43,000 sq. ft distribution centre later this year

Eurostar Global Electronics (EGE) has outlined plans to expand its existing hardware offering during 2022 as key to its growth plans.

The distributor has announced plans to focus on hardware across the audio-visual, gaming, wearable and IoT sectors.

It’s part of EGE’s aims to bolster its existing product offering, while also adding incremental product SKUs to generate new income streams.

The new range of products will enable EGE to work with select new vendors.

A number of senior representatives from EGE attended MWC last week, as the distributor met with a number of new device manufactures during MWC 2022.

Commenting on the focus for the year ahead, managing director Peter Carnall said: “We’re excited about our plans for 2022 and beyond. With our new warehouse facility and the aim of increasing our product and service offerings, we’ll have the capacity and capability to offer a unique and differentiated distribution proposition.

“This will enable us to build on the continuing year-on-year growth that we’ve seen since the business was incorporated in 2007.”

Last year EGE secured a deal with St Mowden for a new state-of-the-art 43,000sq. ft distribution centre (pictured), which is due to open in Q3 2022.

This new HQ will enable the firm to expand its portfolio of products, as EGE looks to expand revenue figures through fulfilment and service opportunities.
