Elite Group has officially announced the appointment of Emma Blackburn as its new financial director, working alongside CFO Rob Burbidge.
Blackburn assumed the role in September, joining from Manchester-based cloud services provider M247, where she had been finance director since December 2018.
Prior to that, she spent 10 years working at BT in a variety of business and financial roles.
Rob Sims, CEO, Elite Group said of Blackburn’s appointment: “Emma has strong experience in managing significant business transformation. We’re delighted she’s joined us so we can benefit from this experience to help our transformation journey as Elite develops its position as a one-stop-shop for all our customer’s IT and communications needs.”
Blackburn added: “It’s good to be part of a dynamic and fast-growing business. I’m a few months into my role, and I’ve been able to use my team-building experience to further strengthen the Finance function at Elite. Working with CFO, Rob Burbidge to help develop the commercial side of the business and support his M&A activity is also proving very rewarding.”
