EE has extended its superfast smartphone delivery and expert set up service with the operator confirming that it will roll out to nine cities in the coming weeks.
The service which has been set up in partnership with Enjoy will roll out across all of London from today (August 23) with plans to offer the service to 80 per cent of the UK by 2020.
In the coming weeks the rollout will reach Birmingham and Manchester with plans to extend to Bristol, Cambridge, Cardiff, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, Nottingham and Sheffield by the end of the year.
The service is free and will be available across all EE pay monthly 5G and 4G smartphones and handset plans, with customers able to request the service from EE advisors over the phone.
Customers can also choose ‘superfast delivery with expert set-up’ option at the online checkout on the website.
Customers have the option to choose the time that suits them best between 8am and 8pm from Monday to Saturday and from 10am to 6pm on Sunday’s.
BT consumer division managing director of commercial Ettienne Brandt said: “We’re extending the EE super fast delivery and expert set-up service across the UK, helping as many customers as possible get the very most from their latest smartphone’s features.
“It will also now be an option across the entire range of 5G and 4G pay monthly smartphones we offer.”
