He will replace Spencer McHugh in the latest shake-up to the operator’s management team
EE has named Peter Jeavons as its new brand director. He replaces Spencer McHugh, who is leaving the business after more than 13 years.
Jeavons will take on his new position at the end of next month and will be charged with leading the mobile operator’s brand strategy and management, as well as all marketing activity, including media buying, digital advertising, social media and retail marketing.
He has been with EE for 14 years, having worked on both the Orange and T-Mobile brands and then helping the joint venture launch into the UK market in October 2012.
It’s the latest change to EE’s management team following its £12.5 billion sale to BT in January.
EE CEO Olaf Swantee announced his departure at the end of last year, while chief financial officer Neil Milsom and chief marketing officer Pippa Dunn left in January.
