The operator was the first to launch its 5G mobile service in the UK
EE has expanded its 5G rollout to an additional 12 UK towns and cities.
It takes the total number of places in the country covered by EE’s 5G service to 112.
Aberdeen, Blackpool and Oxford are some of the latest areas covered by EE’s 5G service, which first launched in May 2019.
EE was the first UK operator to launch its 5G mobile service.
The latest 5G rollout has extended to Aldershot, Barrhead, Castleford, Crawley, Mirfield, Porthcawl, Shipley, Stafford and Warwick.
BT consumer business CEO Marc Allera said: “Delivering the best mobile experience for our customers has never been more important. Our 5G rollout continues apace, with our engineers building and upgrading new sites every day to bring the latest mobile technology to even more people in the places they need it.”
