The 8050 is compatible with Doro’s recently launched Response By Doro service
Doro has confirmed that its latest smartphone, the Doro 8050, is available through O2.
The vendor which specialises in handsets for the seniors demographic has confirmed the 8050 will be available from £20.98 per month with 1GB data.
O2 also ranges other Doro devices including the 6620, 8035, Primo 805, 5516 and 6520.
The 8050 comes with a 5.45-inch display, with a 13MP camera on the rear and a 5MP front camera.
It has an Android interface and also comes with a 3,000mAh battery, with a Qualcomm QM215 chipset.
It also has specific features for seniors including a GPS enabled response button, plus easy-to-read display and text.
And the handset is compatible with Doro’s free GPS locator service Response By Doro.
Doro UK and Ireland managing director Peter Marsden said: “The key functions and operating concept of the Doro 8050 smartphone make it ideal for the needs of O2 UK customers over the age of 65 – a demographic that many phone manufacturers tend to neglect.”
