He will now head up Fonehouse’s accessories retail business, which continues to grow across the UK
TechHouse Accessories managing director Lee Skinner has left the business after six years to pursue other career opportunities.
Operations and sales manager Camran Chaudhary, who joined parent Fonehouse in April 2011, assumes his responsibilities.
Skinner joined the retailer in July 2010 as logistics and procurement director before taking leadership of Fonehouse Accessories in 2013.
Fonehouse then launched its own accessories retail business, TechHouse, in January, and has grown to five stores in and around London.
These are located in the Intu Shopping Centres in Bromley, Lakeside and Watford, with
the remaining two located in the Bluewater Shopping Centre and Mercury Shopping Centre in Bromley.
Additional products
The stores stock products such as smartphone cases, chargers, power banks, headphones, speakers, action camera and drones from the likes of Apple, Samsung, Sony, HTC, LG, Microsoft, GoPro, OtterBox and Parrot. They also offer an in-store device repair service.
TechHouse Accessories runs alongside Fonehouse’s mobile phone franchise retail business, of which there are 42 stores throughout the UK.
Fonehouse chairman Clive Bayley (pictured) said: “TechHouse is growing well. I’ve just returned from IFA and as a result, we will begin selling a number of additional products over the coming weeks.”
