Former EE veteran, who was head of indirect retail at the operator for a year, departs the business
Brightstar 20:20 sales director Mike Hollis has left the distributor after just two months.
The company declined to comment on the reason for his sudden departure, whilst Hollis failed to respond to requests for information from Mobile News.
Hollis, who joined Brightstar 20:20 in what was a newly-created position following Brightstar’s purchase of 20:20 Mobile in February, after more than a decade with EE under its various guises.
He left the operator in the same month, where he had held the role of head of indirect retail for a year.

Prior to that, Hollis was channel account manager for Everything Everywhere (later EE) for just over two years, 2010 to 2013, T-Mobile head of strategic accounts from 2006 to 2010, T-Mobile business unit manager (2001-2006) and T-Mobile senior national account manager (1999-2001).
He is understood to have worked with current Brightstar 20:20 managing director Jim Michel during his time working at T-Mobile, in which Michel was previously head of the terminals division.
