Colour variant goes on sale, with the retailer ordering extra stock to meet anticipated high demand
The BlackBerry Q10 is now on sale in white at Carphone Warehouse and the retailer’s concession stores in Selfridges.
It is available on O2, T-Mobile, Three, EE, Vodafone and TalkMobile, free from £33 a month and £579.95 SIM-free.
The Q10 went on sale in Selfridges on April 26, with stock reportedly selling out within two hours. The department store chain had a weekend exclusive on the device before it went on sale nationwide last week.
On April 29, Selfridges said the Q10 was its fastest ever selling consumer technology product. Carphone said it is predicting a similar level of interest in the white variant and has ordered additional stock to meet expected demand.
Carphone Warehouse chief operating officer Graham Stapleton said: “The Q10 has been hugely popular since we launched it less than a month ago and we’re expecting that the device will become even more desirable to customers now that a white version is available.”
