Telecoms provider will continue to sell O2 products after signing agreement with EE

Managed services provider, Azzurri Communications, has joined EE’s partner network and will resell the operators services to enterprises and small businesses.

The agreement will see EE’s product portfolio being offered to enterprises under the Azzurri brand, while it will sell small business products under the EE brand. Previously, the company had been taking mobility products exclusively from O2.

As part of the agreement, all of Azzurri’s O2 branded small business customers will now be managed by O2 direct. Enterprise customers on O2’s network who are Azzurri-branded will continue to be managed by the dealer.

Azzurri chief executive officer Chris Jagusz confirmed to Mobile News that it would “continue to seek new business opportunities” with O2, as well as EE.

“The motivation behind this partnership was simple – we wanted to ensure we had independence in our supply chain,” he added in a statement.

“By adding EE’s services to our portfolio we are now able to provide our enterprise and small business customers with independent and individual advice on the best fit mobility package for them. O2 has been our partner for many years and is an excellent network operator with whom we continue to have a strong and positive working relationship and shared customers.”

Jagusz joined Azzurri from SSE Telecom in the summer with a brief to return the firm to growth after a turbulent few years which saw revenue plummet from a high point of £140 million in 2010 to £111 million in 2013.
