Buckinghamshire-based wireless solutions provider Axell Wireless has announced Simon Cosgrove as its new CEO.
Cosgrove joins Axell Wireless from infrastructure-as-a-service business start-up Stratto, where he spent four years.
He has been appointed to drive the business’ international growth and lead the company into new markets.
During his tenure at Stratto he was COO and more recently chief commercial officer.
He has also previously held senior roles at Cisco and Ubiquisys.
The appointment follows Axell Wireless being acquired by Rcaptial in June 2020, with former Vodafone-man Andrew Littlejohns also joining the Axell as chairman.
On his appointment Cosgrove said: “Axell Wireless has a unique position in the market due to its technology and legacy. Building from an enviable heritage and global customer base.
“I am looking forward to leading the company in a new era. The takeover by Rcapital heralds a fresh start with new investment that will enable my team to grow Axell Wireless in the years ahead.”
