The launch commemorates Xiaomi and CK Hutchinson’s three-year partnership
Xiaomi and CK Hutchinson have launched the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G smartphone across Europe as the two commemorate a three-year partnership.
The two parties joined forces in May 2018 as part of a strategic alliance to bring Xiaomi’s portfolio of products to telco’s and retailers across the world.
And in Europe, Xiaomi’s products are available to buy from 3 Group stores in the UK, Ireland, Sweden, Austria and Denmark.
Xiaomi will launch the Mi 11 Lite 5G in six European markets as part of its partnership with CK Hutchinson.
The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 780G chipset, 64MP triple camera and is part of the flagship Mi 11 series launched earlier this year.
“Xiaomi is going from strength-to-strength in Western Europe and we are excited to be on that journey with CK Hutchison,” said James Munn, Head of Global Carrier Operations, Xiaomi.
“The Mi 11 Lite 5G is a product that can further cement this success,” he added.
The wider distribution of Xiaomi smartphones into European markets has enabled the vendor to become a top three smartphone brand globally, with 15pc share in Q1 2021 according to Canalys.
Xiaomi grew 62pc during the quarter, shipping 49 million units worldwide.
