Sony claims the new handsets, with new features, are a ‘reimagining’ of its Xperia series

O2, EE, Vodafone and Carphone Warehouse have all confirmed they will be stocking the Xperia X series, Sony’s device range.

The series – which consists of the X (pictured) and XA phones – was launched at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on February 22. It is due to come out in the UK this summer, but Sony did not confirm exact pricing.

Each device will be available on O2’s Refresh Tariff. The tariff allows customers to upgrade early to a new device by simply paying off the remaining value of their handset. O2 is also offering up to £200 when customers recycle the Sony Xperia Z5 in-store or online.

Vodafone, EE and Carphone Warehouse also confirmed they were stocking the device, but have not released specific pricing or availability. Mobile News has contacted Three for more information
