The S20 and S20+ have a 64MP camera with 30x space zoom, while the S20 Ultra has a 108MP camera with a 100x space zoom. The three phones have 4,000, 4,500 and 5,000mAh batteries respectively.

All three phones will be 5G-ready at launch and are available for pre-order from every UK MNO, as well as Sky Mobile and BT Mobile. The S20 comes in Cosmic Grey, Cloud Blue and Cloud Pink colours; the S20+ comes in Cosmic Grey, Cloud Blue and Cosmic Black colours; and the S20 Ultra comes in Cosmic Grey and Cosmic Black colours.

Galaxy Z Flip

The Galaxy Z Flip will be available from February 14, and will retail for £1,300 in Mirror Purple, Mirror Black and Mirror Gold in select countries. It has a 3,300mAh battery.

“The phone looks much more polished than last year’s Galaxy Fold,” said Omdia principal consumer technology analyst Daniel Gleeson. “Samsung has done a lot of excellent work into small features like the mini one-inch display on the outside and the ‘Flex Mode’; a split screen mode for when the phone is bent at an angle, that really makes the phone feel like a more well thought-through device.

“The lack of 5G is noticeable for the high price point, but the feature was dropped to ensure the phone remained slim and trim.”
