Mystery Caller goes against the current, and has decided to move away from the usual Samsung and Apple devices that occupy the hands of fellow commuters in the morning. He’s looking for something with similar prowess and a special feature he can show off to friends at the pub. Will he find what he’s looking for? Will he get a good deal?

Summary

Take away Apple and Samsung and you’ll get operators throwing their exclusives at you, and other options with surprisingly great prices.

I hope Dawn was just new to the job as she didn’t really offer any insight to my questions and stumbled here and there.

John from O2 fared better with good product knowledge but lost points for a lack of enthusiasm. Someone tell him a joke and cheer him up please.

A solid performance from Ryan of Vodafone, he may have made a mistake with product names but performed well.

Jen was clear and concise with her pitch offering the best deal of the day – the Xperia XZ for £36 per month, coupled with some great Virgin incentives.

Our clear winner is Mubashar from Three, who was smooth as a knife through butter and resounded well over the phone. He was the least pushy of the five and offered some great insight.

I have no doubt ten of ten people would buy a device off Mubashar.
