Garmin has appointed Tech Data UK as a B2B distributor for its range of wearable products.
Tech Data UK will distribute the water-resistant vivofit 2 activity tracker; a fitness band that tracks steps, distance travelled and calories burned.
The distributor is also stocking the vivosmart GPS smart watch. The device comes with built-in apps to track running, biking, golfing, swimming and other physical activities.
Tech Data consumer business development manager Jason Clegg said: “Garmin is a really well-known and respected name amongst consumers and offers an exciting range of activity tracker products that addresses the growth in the corporate wellness sector. We see this as a big opportunity and one that has the potential to grow very quickly indeed.
