Four senior staff members departing distributor, while former HTC manager Nick Baker joins to manage the firms major contracts 

Brightstar 20:20 has confirmed a series of proposed staff changes this month – including exits from long-serving employees Chris Brady and Lindy Power and the appointment of former HTC manager Nick Baker.

Brady (pictured), who has held the role of associate sales director for seven and a half years, is joining manufacturer LG as its new network account manager.

LG declined to comment on his appointment, nor on whom he is replacing.

Brady, who also held the role as account manager at 20:20 between 1999 and 2005 before a brief stint at rival Data Select, is currently working his notice with Brightstar 20:20 at the firm’s head officein Crewe. His position will be filled.

Brady said: “I have enjoyed my time here but the time is right for me to move on and take on this new  opportunity with LG.”

Brightstar’s head of accessories Lindy Power has also decided to leave after more than 13 years to pursue other interests, while sales manager global handsets Carlos Capitan and international accounts manager Enricio De Gennaro are departing as part of an internal structural change to the business.

Strengthening team
Brightstar 20:20 has confirmed the appointment of Nick Baker as a new account manager.

Baker, who spent three years and four years respectively as account manager at Samsung and HTC, will be responsible for managing and developing the firm’s “major contracts”.

Brightstar 20:20 described Baker as a “highly-respected” individual in the telecom channel and joins with a “high pedigree”.
