Distributor’s staff fundraising efforts to be split between Sebastian’s Action Trust and Luekemia Busters

Exertis staff have raised £4,444 for charity over the past year which will be shared with two causes.

An equal share will go to Sebastian’s Action Trust, a purpose-built facility offering holidays to sick children, and Luekemia Busters, a research group that looks to combat the disease.

Exertis staff have been raising funds through dress down days, a charity panda bear raffle and a meat raffle.

“We wholeheartedly thank Exertis and its staff for the kind donation to our cause,” said a statement from the Sebastian’s Action Trust. “Without such donations we would not be able to help families in their most trying of times. All families of seriously-ill children should be able to have quality time together to relax, recharge and rebuild and the kind people at Exertis are helping us to deliver this.”

Exertis purchasing director Mark Kahr, added: “It was no surprise to see the Exertis team enthusiastically embrace the fundraising activities. It was however a surprise to hear the amount that had been raised, at a time when we are all feeling the pinch.

“Our fun-loving and kind-hearted team continue to show dedication in both their professional lives and in their efforts to improve the lives of others.”
