Vodafone Platinum Partner beats two other companies to provide Paul UK with 40 connections and iPhone 5s smartphones for a further two years

Olive Communications has renewed a contract worth £40,000 with French patisserie chain Paul UK to manage its mobile telecoms estate for a further two years.

The Vodafone Platinum Partner beat two other unnamed companies to the contract following a three-way tender process and will provide Paul UK with 40 connections on the Vodafone network, transferring staff from BlackBerry to Apple iPhone 5s smartphones.

The contract covers connectivity and devices for head office staff in London, as well as delivery drivers and operations teams.

The high street brand, which has 30 London stores at locations including Covent Garden, Kings Road and Canary Wharf, and a presence in 24 other countries, will be able to monitor its mobile spend in real time and set policies for individual users via Olive’s online portal.

Objectives
Olive Communications chief executive Martin Flick (pictured) said “The telecoms market is fast moving with many deployment models and options, making it difficult for buyers to navigate with assurance.

“We seek to understand our customer’s objectives, and then map the most appropriate and cost-effective solution from our portfolio of products and services. That’s what we’ve done with Paul UK.

Paul UK finance director Susanne Sauerland added: “Olive’s detail-oriented and committed approach stood out over the other service providers we evaluated in the tender process. They took the time to fully understand our specific needs and requirements, and then devised a commercially attractive contract which will help us operate as effectively as possible.”
