Operator to reduce timeframe from three months on April 1, but the 90 day rule will still exist for dealers upgrading Orange customers to 4GEE plans

EE is to cut the period from when dealers can upgrade Orange business customers from 90 to 30 days. It comes into effect from April 1.

The operator said the move brings it in line T-Mobile across all B2B channels, as well as being broadly in line with the industry.

An Orange spokesperson said: “As of April 1, we will be making a change to the loyalty period for partners upgrading Orange business customers, reducing the period from 90 days to 30 days.

“This will apply to partners upgrading small business and corporate customers, and brings the Orange upgrade period in line with T-Mobile, as part of our ongoing integration process.

“Partners upgrading Orange customers to 4GEE plans will still be able to take advantage of a 90 day loyalty period. We are advising our partners of these changes now to give them time to update their forecasts.
