The dealer has just sealed a deal with a remote care provider
The One Solution is aiming to add as many as 40,000 new connections to its business in the next 12 months.
The Leeds-based dealer is also celebrating October being its most successful month ever – gaining its largest single contract yet with remote care provider Walnut Care, as well as maintaining a high level of customer retention.
“We are continuing with our 98 per cent retention and we’re renewing a lot of existing clients because our customer service is where it needs to be,” said managing director Marshall Frieze.
A large number of new connections look set to come from the IoT SIMs that the dealer is providing with Pangea for shipping containers (see Mobile News, issue 690).
“With customer retention, renewals and the advent of the container solution, we expect to add 30,000 to 40,000 connections in the next 12 months,” said Frieze. He said that the amount these connections would be worth to the dealer could be “game- changing”.
The One Solution’s deal with Walnut will, meanwhile, provide the care company’s workers with 210 Nuu A5L devices for 24 months, complete with mobile device management services from SOTI that enable responsible handling of confidential patient data.
The deal, which provides almost twice as many connections as The One Solutions’ previous largest deal, is valued from £70,000 to £80,000.
Walnut Care CEO David Weatherley added: “The new mobile devices can help us to keep our lone workers and carers safe when they visit our service users across Lincolnshire, but also ensure that all patient data communicated via phone is kept completely secure.”
