Jeffrey brought in to help attract new customers and boost revenues at EE airtime distributor
Tanny Jeffrey has this month teamed up with EE airtime distributor Midland– as part of the firms “ambitious” growth plans.
Jeffrey, who held director roles at Avenir Telecom (1998-2008), Brightstar Europe (2009-2010), and Shebang (2011-2012) before setting up her consultancy firm Pomegranatesoup in 2012, begun her new (so far untitled) role this month.
She will be responsible for leading the Nottingham based firm ( of which EE owns a 32.5 per cent share in), exploring new business opportunities and growing its customer base.
Midland director Mark Liley (32.5 per cent share holder), is understood to have contacted Jeffrey late last year about the position.
Jeffrey confirmed her appointment to Mobile News this morning (April 3), but declined to comment further.
Midland increased its annual turnover (last published ending October, 2012) 27 per cent to £27.5 million year on year.
