The partnership will see Barclay Comms pushing Avaya’s full range of OneCloud communications services
Barclay Communications has struck a partnership with technology company Avaya in a move that will boost its cloud offering.
The tie-up will see Belfast-based Barclay Communications offer Avaya’s full range of OneCloud communications services.
The dealer says the partnership will offer its customers a “more flexible and future-proof telephony alternative”.
Through the move, Barclay Communications will have the ability to manage and maintain existing Avaya systems, while being able to provide both remote and on-site customer support for existing Avaya customers.
Avaya, which has more than 100,000 customers globally, specialises in cloud-based UC and collaboration systems for businesses.
Meanwhile, Barclay Comms has invested heavily in recent years to boost its service offerings, including £350,000 on a CRM system and £150,000 in specialist engineering staff to oversee the installation of its landline and IT solutions.
“Avaya is a big name in unified communications technology and has recently put in some of the largest solutions in Northern Ireland,” said Barclay Communications MD Britt Megahey.
“Having them as a partner is a great achievement and we are delighted that we can now extend our portfolio to offer our customers greater flexibility across a widely trusted platform.”
Avaya channel lead Ciaran McNamara added: “The company [Barclay Communications] already has a solid reputation in the unified communications technology industry and its growth in landline has been exceptional over the past few years.
“We’re excited to see how they can help us expand our reach in the Northern Ireland market in the coming years.”
