Keith O’Brien joins as head of content Batyr Bulat as marketing director as handset manufacturer looks to develop its mobile content strategy
Samsung has added to its UK and Ireland team with the appointments of Keith O’Brien as head of content and Batyr Bulat as marketing director as the handset manufacturer looks to develop its mobile content strategy.
O’Brien (pictured) will aim to ensure Samsung delivers ‘quality relevant content’ covering video-on-demand, music, ebooks, newspapers, magazines and games. He joins from mobile media specialist FoneStarz, where he was director and general manager.
Bulat is tasked with driving the company’s ‘Smartphone for Everyone’ strategy across Samsung’s Mobile Division in the UK. He joins from Unilever, where he was category marketing director. There he held responsibility of the strategic and commercial management of brands including Persil, Surf, comfort and Finish.
