Vodafone adds 4GB of data per month on all 4G plans

New and upgrading customers taking out a contract before October 31 will be eligible for the offer, as operator announces it will launch 4G in a further five cities on September 28

Vodafone is rewarding customers signing up to one of its Red 4G tariffs with an additional 4GB of monthly mobile data for the duration of their contract.

Those taking out a 12 or 24 month plan with a 4G-ready handset included will get three months free unlimited UK data, then double the amount of data available on standard Vodafone Red plans plus an extra 4GB.

The 4GBonus offer runs from today until October 31 and is open to new and upgrading customers. Those who signed up for the 4G plans after they went on sale on August 12 will also be eligible for the offer.

In addition, following its launch of 4G in London on August 29, Vodafone is also launching the faster speeds in Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester, Nottingham and Sheffield on September 28.

By the end of the year, the operator will also have switched on 4G in Bradford, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, Newcastle and Manchester, totalling 13 cities.
