In this weeks Mobile News we’re discussing the second incarnation of the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive, other wise known as MiFID II, due to come into force January 3rd 2018.

We spoke with Ian Bevington marketing manager at Oak, a company that specialises in MiFID II recording hardware and software to help us understand the nuts and bolts of the directive.

I also spoke with Julie Evans, COO of Exonar about her research on the General Data Protection Regulation compliance, a regulation that has also received a mixed response from the sector. We also spoke with Ken Parker compliance director at ICT reverse to give us an introduction to GDPR and its interrelated aspect with MiFID II.
