Carphone to sell HTC EVO 3D from September 6

Carphone first retailer to sell only the second 3D handset on the market following the launch of the LG Optimus 3D in June

Carphone Warehouse will begin selling the HTC EVO 3D handset on September 6 in Carphone and Best Buy stores.

Carphone said it is the first retailer to offer HTC’s first 3D handset. The device is already avaialble to pre-order from the Carphone website and is free on a £36 per month contract.

The EVO 3D will be only the second 3D handset available following the release of the LG Optimus 3D in June.

The device allows users to download and stream 3D video and images, and record 3D films and photos. It also supports 3D gaming.
