Brightstar appoints Vodafone head of devices

Former Vodafone UK and Ireland boss of devices Chris Edwards joins handset distributor

Brightstar Europe has appointed former Vodafone UK and Ireland director of terminals Chris Edwards as its European Vendor and purchasing director.

Edwards was a member of Vodafone’s global terminals team.

He had also held positions in FMCG and fashion.

Brightstar Europe president Rod Millar said: “Chris’ priority is to strengthen and increase our vendor relationships whilst improving our internal efficiency and service levels, to support our expansion strategy and drive for profitable growth for partners and customers.”
