Vodafone slashes VAT
Vodafone has increased the value of its prepay top-ups to more than cover the recent VAT cuts.
From December 1 a £10 top-up will now give £10.25 worth of calls and texts, 2p more than the VAT cut would cover.
Handsets and accessories in Vodafone’s retail and online stores will now be sold at the new rate, which will also be applied to contract customers’ bills from this date.
