SIM-embedded Asus from Orange

Orange has expanded its laptop range with a SIM-embedded Asus Eee PC 901.

It is the first laptop Orange is offering with a SIM-card pre-installed for mobile broadband connectivity.

The device is available mid-November from Orange’s direct sales channels, in black or pink, featuring Intel’s Atom processor, five hours of battery life, an integrated webcam.

Orange UK  director of devices Francois Mahieu said: ‘‘By introducing the Eee PC 901 with integrated connectivity, we’re now making it even easier for customers to purchase a flexible solution that allows them to access the internet when they are out and about. As a result, we strongly believe this will be one of the most popular device offers in the market place this Christmas.”
