Youth retailer Phones 4U to stock Samsung Galaxy Tab and Commtiva N700 from November 1

Phones 4U is to stock the Samsung Galaxy Tab and Commtiva N700 Android tablet devices from November 1 as it aims to cash-in on demand for such products ahead of Christmas.

The Galaxy Tab will be available for a standalone price of £499.95, or for £199.95 when bought alongside a Samsung Europa on £45-plus tariffs on multiple networks.

The Commtiva N700 is priced at £349.95 or £49.95 when bought with the Samsung Europa on £40-plus tariffs across multiple networks.

Both run on the Android 2.2 operating system, and will be available on a number of different packages through Phones 4U.

Phones 4U marketing director Russell Brateman said: “Tablet devices are an exciting development out of the mobile phone market.

“Just as our customers love to have the latest handsets, tablets will be high on must-have Christmas present lists this year.”
