Accessories distributor and retailer Pama has put back the launch of its own-brand Plug ‘N’ Go Drive in-vehicle security device to mid-April.
Pama originally said the device would be made available to the channel in December. The Plug ‘N’ Go Drive has two cameras, a CMOS digital sensor, GPS, data storage of between 512MB and 32GB and built-in microphone. The device can be ï¬tted in a vehicle to record video of its contents and the road, and viewed on a PC.
It is also now stocking the Cardo Scala Rider G4, which is a rugged bike-to-bike intercom which can be used at a distance of more than one mile.
Pama exhibited at the Gadget Show Live for the first time last week with a stall under its retail brand Fone Bitz. It invested in a four metres by 10 metres stand, showcasing accessories available through its retail chain, which is located at motorway service stations.
Pama managing director Kevin McHugh said: “Going to these shows is a way to show off what brands we offer. We are hearing that more and more buyers are attending these consumer shows, so it’s important to have a presence. We expect a very good response from the show.”
