Huawei launches Ascend G7 smartphone in the UK

Manufacturer’s latest 4G device to be available from Carphone Warehouse over the coming weeks 

Huawei has expanded its 4G smartphone line up with the launch of the Ascend G7.

It will be available in grey, silver and gold from Carphone Warehouse over the coming weeks. Pricing has yet to be confirmed.

The Ascend G7 (pictured), which is 7.6mm thick and has an all-metal back, runs the Android OS and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor.

It has a 5.5-inch touchscreen, 13 megapixel rear camera with wide-angle lens and one-second capture button and five megapixel front camera,

Additional features include 2GB of RAM, a 3,00mAh battery and 16GB of internal memory that can be expanded by 32GB with a microSD card.

The device also features the latest version of the manufacturer’s user interface, Emotion UI 3.0, as well as a customisable home screen as well as ‘Standard’ and ‘Simplicity’ UIs aimed at making navigation easier.
