Chris Edwards joins ZTE in European role

Former Vodafone UK and Ireland director of terminals joins from Brightstar as European marketing and business development director

Chinese handset manufacturer ZTE has appointed Chris Edwards as its European marketing and business development director. He joins from Brightstar, where he was European commercial and vendor director.

Edwards was recruited by Brightstar in August 2010. He had spent almost eight years as Vodafone UK and Ireland director of terminal’s between September 2001 and June 2009 and had worked as a consultant for a year before joining Brightstar.

Edwards had also been head of commercial management at aviation firm BAA and director of buying and merchandising at clothing retailer USC before joining Vodafone.
