Brightstar set for Germany

Brightstar Europe is to launch in the German market through European IT partner Tech Data, based in Munich, Mobile News understands.

Its launch there would bring competition to German players Komsa, NT Plus and Brightpoint.

Brightstar is understood to have brokered deals already with most major handset manufacturers’ local German business units.

It is thought to be looking for around 30 staff to man its German operation.

Brightstar refused to comment.
