Vodafone becomes the first in the UK to sell the smartphone powered by the new BlackBerry 7 operating system
The BlackBerry Bold 9900, the first phone from Research In Motion (RIM) to run off its new BlackBerry 7 operating system, has launched in the UK through Vodafone.
It is now available from free for £41 a month, coming with 1,200 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of data.
The Bold 9900 is powered by a 1.2GHz processor and comes with a 2.-ich touchscreen as well as the traditional QWERTY keyboard found on most BlackBerry devices.
It comes with a five megapixel camera that supports HD video recording, 8GB of internal memory that can be expanded to up to 40GB with a memory card and is also enabled for Near Field Communication (NFC).
