Avenir in comms sales push

Avenir has announced a new initiative that will increase its presence in the UK comms sales channel.

Ben Price, who joined the B2B distributor from Nortel earlier this month, will head up the initiative as channel manager. He will oversee work across voice, data and IP/convergence products whilst supporting and growing Avenir’s dealer base.

Avenir managing director Andy Tow said: “Ben brings with him a wealth of expertise and enthusiasm which is perfectly matched against our ambitions to become as significant a player in the comms channel as we are in mobile.

“He has already made some impressive connections outside of our core dealer base and into the broader comms space, and we look forward to watching this develop further.”
