Newing takes LG marketing role

Newing (pictured) replaces Gary Venn, who resigned in October. There will be a handover period, as Venn sees out his role until the end of the year.

LG UK sales director John Barton said: “Jeremy has good mobile experience and a proven track record, so I’m delighted to have him on board.”

Meanwhile, LG Mobile account manager for Vodafone Chris Hoyle is leaving. He will take up a European marketing role with rival Motorola in the new year.

Venn is said to be moving to a trading role in a retail company.
