Alcatel slashes handset price for Xmas

The Mandarina Duck now costs £49.95 but will revert to its original £79.95 price tag after Christmas. The handset is exclusive to Carphone Warehouse and is available on Orange, T-Mobile, O2 and Vodafone.

The handset is collaboration with Italian fashion brand Mandarina Duck and features a clamshell design, MP3 player, VGA camera, 10 MB internal memory, Bluetooth and music control keys on the cover.

An Alcatel spokesperson said "Christmas is a time of goodwill – we hope our festive price drop will bring some festive cheer to consumers."
