3 launches handset buyback scheme

3 has partnered with Revive Mobile to offer customers cash for their unwanted phones.

The network and the Watford-based mobile phone recycling company will offer up to £140 for working and non-functioning phones across 1000 makes and models, and customers from any other network can take advantage of the promotion. Customers can participate via the 3 website or in stores.

Revive Mobile managing director Charlo Carabott said: “We believe this innovative service offers fantastic value, tackles anti-theft issues and is WEEE compliant. We are very confident this programme will be extremely successful."
