Geko has O2 dealer code terminated

Large Midlands-based B2B dealer Geko has been axed by O2 amid high churn claims.

O2 issued distributors with a ‘do not deal’ notice for Geko last week. It was connecting O2 via Fone Logistics.

Geko connects Orange, its main network, via Mainline. It is also a gold’ partner with Yes Telecom for Vodafone connections and connects T-Mobile via Fone Logistics.

"Networks have drilled it in to dealers churn is no good – they are looking for quality business, not to add customers one year and lose them the next," said a source.

An O2 spokesperson said: "Geko is no longer a stockist for O2."

Geko was unavailable for comment.
