Orange relaunches music talent search

Orange has teamed up with Sony Ericsson again for a second run of its Orange Unsigned music  show, a television programme showcasing unsigned music talent.

A dedicated website runs in tandem with the talent show, offering gossip and behind-the-scenes news, accessible via mobile phone.

The closing date for entries to the competition is August 31. Auditions startOctober 4. The winning performance will receive a record deal with Universal Records.

Orange head of partnerships Hattie Magee said: "Orange are thrilled to be involved in the second year of the programme. We want to open up opportunities for talented bands by giving them a chance to be seen and heard by a mass audience."
