Mobile execs raise £25k for charity

Virgin Mobile and Virgin Media executives have helped raise around £25,000 for the Starfish, Foyer and Pride n’ Purpose charities by participating in a four-day, 500-mile  ‘Big Ride’ cycle race.

The Virgin teams were sponsored by Samsung, Nokia and Sagem. Riders included Rob Shardlow, Ian Driver and Paul Coleman from Virgin, and special guests Nokia UK head Simon Ainslie and Samsung’s Mark Mitchinson. The teams left Virgin Media’s Belfast office last week and finished in the London office. The whole trip took five days cycling, 10 hours per day to cover a total of 500 miles.
