Yes Telecom in routine cull

Vodafone-owned service provider Yes Telecom has axed a number of under-performing dealers.

It sent letters to customers last week informing them their suppliers had been removed. Affected dealers were angry at the intrusion.

One said: “It’s ridiculous. If Yes wants to remove me, that is fine. But for my customers to receive a letter telling them so – before me – is not good enough.”

Yes Telecom head of marketing Nigel Kaye said: “We’re not  making any significant changes. We terminate three-to-four per month; those that are connecting little. It’s normal business.”
