P4U gets 3 prepay for first time

Phones 4U has signed an agreement with 3 to stock its prepay handsets on October 9 for the first time since 3 launched in 2003.

Phones 4U stores will also stock 3’s SIM-only mobile broadband offer.
The move comes after Phones 4U stores have complained of stock shortages of 3 contract handsets for the last two months.

Phones 4U trading director Scott Hooton said: “Prepay is extremely popular among the youth market, and as we enter the Christmas gifting period, even more so.”
