Carphone robbed by nine year-old

Carphone Warehouse’s Kensington branch was hit by a gang of robbers on October 8.

Members of the gang distracted three of the staffers, while the youngest in the group, a nine-year-old boy, managed to bypass staff robbing 14 handsets from the stock room.

One Carphone staffer said: “Recession robberies are happening. It’s not a big problem we’re faced with, but it’s something that’s on the increase.”
