Asda Phone Shops set to sell O2 airtime

Supermarket’s trial shops to sell airtime from five main networks before the end of the month

Asda’s trial ‘Phone Shops’ will sell O2 airtime, alongside Vodafone, Orange, T-Mobile and Three, by the end of November, Mobile News understands.

Last week, Asda’s fulfilment partner for the trial of the two mobile stores within Asda supermarkets, Shebang, launched the Asda website for airtime and handset sales.

Shebang managing director Iain Humphrey said: “We are working very hard with Asda, and enjoying working with it, and we hope to start to roll out more sites next year.”
